Belle Champlin, daughter of Henry Champlin and Belle Myers, was born February 1874 in Michigan. She died before 1930. She married Lewis Way. They had 2 children.

In 1880, Belle, ae 7, and her brother Roy, ae 4, resided with their parents in Moscow, Hillsdale, Michigan. They had one boarder. Her father was employed as a miller.

In 1888, Belle resided at 215 Elizabeth in Jackson, Michigan with her mother. They were both employed by Coronet Corset Company.

In 1891, Belle married a John O'Halloran. He was employed by Coronet Corset Company where Belle and her mother worked.

On 3 September 1896 in Jackson, Michigan, Belle married Lewis Way.

In 1900, Belle and Lewis resided in Jackson, Michigan. Belle's mother was widowed and living with them.

In 1910, Belle and Lewis resided at 307 Colombus Street N. in Jackson with daughter Leah, ae 10, and son Roy, ae 7. Lewis' sister Grace was divorced and living with them.

On 12 September 1918, Belle and Lewis resided at 361 Greenwood in Detroit, Michigan.

In 1920, Belle and Lewis resided at 361 Greenwood with their children, Leah; ae 18, employed as a private secretary at an insurance office, and Roy; ae 16. They owned their home free of mortgage, and had one lodger.

Louis Way was a trimmer at Collins Manufacturing Company in Jackson, Michigan. He was a trimmer and foreman of the Fuller Buggy Company in Jackson, Michigan. He was a trimmer for Dodge Brothers Motor Car Company in Detroit.
